December 2012 Arrivals and Departures

December was a busy month.  Trainings, Christmas Conferences, and Departures and Arrivals.  Our departure was a large group of strong missionaries and we miss their experience and leadership.  We had an interesting arrive with complications visas, oh, we had complications with visas on the departure as well and it was nothing short of miracles that helped all departing missionaries leave on the 18th.

Elder Pena

A great elder (center) arrived that afternoon, finally after serving in Las Vegas for several weeks waiting for a visa.

On December 27th five new missionaries from the Provo MTC enjoyed an evening with the President in the Lopez Mateos ward.  There first missionary experience in Mexico.

On December 27th five new missionaries from the Provo MTC and one from Mexico City enjoyed an evening with the President in the Lopez Mateos ward. They enjoyed first missionary experience in Mexico as full-time missionaries.

On January 3rd we received our last two American December missionaries who had spent two weeks in Las Vegas awaiting their visas. They were greeted at the airport by the assistentes.
