Christmas Service Tradition

Christmas Conferences are events that the missions look forward to each year.  One tradition new this year for Christmas was zone service projects.  Each zone planned and organized a service project.  The photos were shared in a presentation at the Christmas Conferences.  Most had missionary experiences relating to these projects along with the feelings of joy serving others.

The Mitras Zone collected usable items to take to a orphanage of disabled children.  Many ward members were involved in collecting for this event.

Miravalle

Miravalle shared their service with a family by painting and cleaning their home.

The Nueva Rosita Zone were invited to a classroom to teach about diversity and the many different countries they represented.  The missionaries not only represented 6  states of Mexico and the 2 in the United States.  They represented Columbia, Peru, and Honduras.

Service Pro Republica 009

The Republica Zone cleaned a private property that resulted in teaching a family the gospel.

The Valle Morelos Zone clean-up a commercial street in the Bernardo Reyes area.  Business owners came to thank them as well as ask them who they were. They enjoyed a missionary opportunity as well.

Anahuac14

The missionaries of the Anahuac Zone organized a Stake Christmas Fair complete with activities, crafts, refreshments, entertainment and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. They collected items for a homeless shelter in conjunction with the fun family event.
